By accessing or using the Quilt Fabric Geek website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

Quilt Fabric Geek is an online community for quilting enthusiasts. The Site allows users to create accounts, upload profile pictures, share quilt and fabric project photos, and interact with other members of the quilting community.

To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account on the Site.

The Site allows users to upload profile pictures and project photos (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload
• The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• The content does not contain any illegal, offensive, defamatory, or harmful material
• You have obtained consent from any identifiable individuals appearing in your photos

By uploading User Content, you grant Quilt Fabric Geek a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and share your content within the Site for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

When you upload project pictures, you may choose to share them with other users of the Site. You acknowledge that:

• Shared content may be viewed by other registered users
• You retain ownership of your content, but are responsible for what you choose to share
• Quilt Fabric Geek does not guarantee the security of shared content once viewed by others
• You may delete your content at any time by managing your account or contacting us

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation
• Upload images containing nudity, explicit content, or content that sexualizes minors
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site
• Use automated tools to scrape, mine, or collect data from the Site
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site
• Engage in any commercial solicitation or spam

All content provided by Quilt Fabric Geek — including logos, graphics, text, and the overall design of the Site — is the property of Quilt Fabric Geek and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Site at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Quilt Fabric Geek does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quilt Fabric Geek shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quilt Fabric Geek and its owners, operators, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) any User Content you submit or share; (c) your violation of these Terms of Use; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party. This indemnification obligation will survive termination of your account or these Terms.

Quilt Fabric Geek respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law.

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to info@quiltfabricgeek.com containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Site; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

We reserve the right to remove content alleged to be infringing and to terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Site with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
